Namah Stute!
Anil Sainger
Writer on Meditation, Indian Contemplative Traditions and Conscious Living
I am a writer, meditation practitioner and lifelong student of inner inquiry. For nearly three decades, my personal exploration has centred on meditation, awareness, tantra as an inner science, and the relationship between the mind and consciousness.
I do not present myself as a guru. I write as a fellow traveller—someone who continues to observe, question, practise and learn.
A Journey of Inner Inquiry
My interest in spirituality began as a personal search rather than an academic pursuit. Over the years, this search led me through different systems of thought, meditation practices and lived experiences. Gradually, one understanding became central to my work: authentic inner exploration does not demand blind belief. It begins with attention, observation and the courage to examine our own minds.
My literary journey began with the novel A Journey of Transformation. It was a deeply personal work, shaped by experiences that influenced my physical, emotional and spiritual life. I later wrote stories and reflective pieces on relationships, inner conflict, love, awareness and the quiet transformations that often remain invisible to the outside world.
As I began guiding meditation sessions, I noticed a recurring difficulty. Many people were interested in collecting spiritual ideas, yet fewer were willing to enter the simplicity and discipline of actual practice. This observation gradually shaped my writing on meditation, tantra and conscious living.
“Meditation is not an escape from life. It is the art of meeting life with awareness.”
What I Write About
My articles seek to make Indian contemplative traditions accessible without reducing them to slogans, miracle claims or rigid beliefs. The central themes of my work include:
Meditation & Awareness
The difference between a meditation technique and the meditative state, along with the practical challenges that arise during inner practice.
Tantra as Inner Science
A grounded exploration of tantra beyond sensationalism, with particular attention to the meditative wisdom of the Vigyan Bhairav Tantra.
Mind & Relationships
Reflections on fear, attachment, emotional patterns, the subconscious mind and the role of awareness in everyday relationships.
Indian Contemplative Traditions
Accessible reflections on Kashmir Shaivism, the Upanishads, yoga philosophy and other traditions of inner inquiry.
The Spirit of Navaarmbha
Navaarmbha means a new beginning. It is a space for readers and seekers who wish to explore spirituality with sincerity, clarity and openness. The intention is not to promote fear, dependency or unquestioning faith.
Techniques can prepare the ground, but awareness remains the heart of the journey.
Inner practices should support clarity and well-being without exaggerated promises.
A meaningful spiritual path should encourage questioning, reflection and direct experience.
Its deeper purpose is the expansion of awareness in every dimension of life.
Books and Ongoing Work
My book Vigyan Bhairav Tantra presents meditation practices in a simple and practical form, organised around different pathways such as breath, sound, inner energy, the senses, sleep and silence.
I continue to work on books and essays about meditation, tantra, self-observation and the inner dimensions of human life. Some of my Hindi writings are now being carefully adapted into English so that readers beyond the Hindi-speaking world can engage with their essence.
For Readers and Seekers
Navaarmbha is not built around the idea of selling spirituality. Its purpose is to share reflections and practices that may help sincere seekers move from information towards observation, and from observation towards awareness.
The articles on this website are an invitation to pause, question and explore. Meditation sessions are also offered for those who wish to approach practice gradually and sincerely.
