Essential Points to Know Before Practicing the Third Eye (Ajna Chakra) Method
Dear friends, perhaps you have experienced moments when a thought you held quickly manifested into reality. For instance, you might think, I need money; I wish someone would offer me some, and soon after, you receive the funds. Or you ponder, It has been a while since I spoke to my friend. How wonderful it would be if they visited today! Moments later, the doorbell rings, and there stands the very friend you just envisioned.
You may have also heard of people whose words, whether good or ill, seem to come true. There’s a saying: Never earn someone’s curse, for it may follow you for life.
But have you ever wondered how such things happen?
When you think positively for yourself or others, and it materializes, it’s indeed wonderful. However, when negative thoughts come true, it’s troubling—and often, we don’t even realize when negative thinking becomes a habit. According to science, the entire universe is made of atoms and energy, including our own bodies. If you’ve studied atoms, you’ll know they contain negatively charged electrons, positively charged protons, and neutral neutrons. This negative charge may explain why we are more readily influenced by negativity and why it clings to us easily.
Therefore, when practicing this method, maintain a positive mindset. While positive thoughts may or may not manifest, negative ones have a higher likelihood of coming true. Never harbor ill thoughts about yourself or others. Once you enter this stream of negativity, it’s easy to be swept away without realizing it.
It is often said that words spoken from the heart inevitably come true. However, this belief is not entirely accurate. The thoughts that arise from the heart and dominate the mind can reach the third eye and become reality, but the average person remains unaware of this process. Not every heartfelt wish or curse reaches the third eye. This is beyond our direct control, especially for those unaware of the third eye’s potential or who have never activated it.
When practicing this method, you may not control which thoughts reach the third eye and manifest. However, with consistent practice and mastery, you can develop control. It’s essential to understand that controlling thoughts does not mean suppressing them, as commonly believed. Instead, it means preventing them from flowing toward the third eye. This mastery requires dedication and practice. Until then, avoid negative words or thoughts altogether.
Key Points to Consider
- Clarity of Purpose
Whether engaging in tantra, meditation, yoga, spirituality, or even simple prayer, it is crucial to clearly understand your purpose. - Daily Routine
Do not abruptly add or remove anything from your daily life unless an inner calling guides you. Do not act merely based on someone else’s suggestion. - Physical Preparation
Before meditating, practice physical exercises or yoga. A healthy body facilitates success in meditation. Remember, meditation can be practiced at any time, even for as little as five minutes. - Master Trataka First
Before delving into this method or meditation, become proficient in Trataka (a gaze-focused technique). The proper way to practice Trataka is:- Draw a circle, half to one inch in diameter, on a wall or board.
- Sit at a distance of four to six feet, directly facing the circle.
- Fix your gaze on the circle with a calm, steady focus, without blinking.
Key Points in Trataka Practice:
- The circle should be directly in front of your eyes, neither too high, too low, nor off to one side.
- Avoid staring or forcing your gaze; maintain a natural, relaxed focus.
- Practice as much as feels comfortable without straining. Gradually, you will gain control over your gaze and reduce blinking.
Once you can sustain this for four to five minutes, you’ll be ready to begin the third eye method.
- Meditation Environment
Choose a serene environment for meditation. Sit under a tree in a park, near flowering plants, or beside indoor plants in your home or room.
A Note of Caution
As you embark on this journey, remember to proceed without the pressure of specific outcomes. Meditation and spiritual practices yield their best results when approached with a natural, accepting mindset. Trust the process and embrace whatever unfolds without forcing or resisting. Patience and consistency are your greatest allies on this path.
